What will they learn?
This classes will provide an introduction of art foundations such as observational drawing, painting, composition and colour theory.
Classes are for developing skills, training eye for art. Developing own style and getting confidence.
Children will learn to construct drawings using proportion, structure and form, and develop the ability to represent three-dimensional objects convincingly on a flat surface. They will explore tonal values, light and shadow, as well as colour, colour relationships and colour harmonies, learning how colours interact with and influence each other. These skills provide the foundation for drawing and painting in a convincing and confident manner.
These classes for Children ages from 9 to 16. They might have previous experience in art classes, in school or practicing at home, or have no experience at all!

Quiter and shy kids could espessially trive in art classes environment as its not competitive and each child concentraits on their own work.
Art gives children the opportunity to slow down, concentrate and really look at the world around them.
Through regular practice, they can develop:

About classes
Join our small, friendly art classes in a calm studio in Athenry.
Whether you’ve never picked up a pencil before or you used to draw years ago and want to get back into it, this course is designed to help you build real skills and confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Everything is provided — quality materials, paper, and all supplies. Just bring yourself and a willingness to enjoy the process.
Classes are kept small (maximum 8 people) so you get plenty of individual attention and guidance. Everyone learns at their own pace in our welcoming studio.

What You Will Learn?
Each 6-week block is a new term in its own right, designed to give you a relaxed and structured learning experience in art.
Throughout the term, students are guided step by step through the creative process while developing essential skills such as colour, composition, proportions, layering, and creating depth. Each class combines demonstrations, guidance, and practical time to apply new techniques.
Students typically complete one or two finished artworks during the term, with a focus on understanding the process, building confidence, and developing skills that can be carried into future artwork.
Perfect for complete beginners and returning artists who want to learn, experiment, and grow their artistic practice in a supportive environment.
